GARDEN GATE OPEN HOUSE: SATURDAY FEBRUARY 23, 10A.M. – 2P.M

Garden Gate School – Columbia’s only preschool inspired by Waldorf – opens its doors to families interested in a holistic approach to the child, one that includes storytelling, imaginative play, healthy organic food, lots of time out of doors, and deep attention to the development of each child.

Come and meet our teachers, bake bread with us, find out more about education inspired by the Waldorf movement, pick up our natural toys made of wood, silk and wool and find out why our hand-made dolls are so loved by young children.

We are offering a puppet play at 11A.M., so bring your young child to enjoy the simple beauty of a story told through the gestures of hand-made puppets.
